Thank you all staff, exhibitors and sponsors for a successful 2008. We wondered what the impact the current economic situation would have on agricultural entries as the summer began. Eastern States Exposition is pleased that our exhibitors came to the Fair in the usual and in some cases, increasing numbers. We are pleased that the quality continues its tradition of excellence here in our competitions.

Some Other Interesting Facts:
A record setting 1225 Ag T-Shirts were sold during the 2008 Big E.
A new Big E record was set for Adult Giant Pumpkin weighing in at 1284lbs. was exhibited by new exhibitor Richard Skrzypczak of Barre, Mass. A Big E Youth Giant Pumpkin record was also set at 908 lbs. set by Sheryl Magdycz of Plainfield, Mass.
The ESE Feed Store manager, Meg Eberly did a yeoman's job and we are looking ahead to 2009.
